LBR Group is the corporate parent for a family of businesses that grew from a single steel manufacturing unit into multiple verticals – pipes and tubular products, industrial storage and water tanks, and now grain storage and development.
We combine legacy, operational strength and measured expansion. Each business keeps its own identity, customers and market, whereas the group provides the engineering culture, capital and standards behind them.

LBR stands for Lala Bholaram Ji, the visionary from whom we derive the values of all our businesses. Today, these companies come together to form the conglomerate known as The LBR Group.
Born in 1914 in Bawani Khera, Haryana, Lala Bholaram Ji was the son of Lala Dhruv Prahlad Ji. After his mother’s early passing, he was raised by his aunt in the ancestral kothi founded by his great-grandfather Lala Maniram Ji.
In 1935 he married Smt. Rambai Devi Ji. They had 6 sons and 3 daughters. A man of rare simplicity and honesty, he lived with just 2 dhotis and kurtas, read the Gita daily, and kept no money for himself. He gave all his sons’ earnings to his wife and lived detached from worldly desires.
Although Lala Bholaram Ji concluded his earthly journey on November 20, 1986, in Bawani Khera, his spirit remains the foundation of our company.
Our Founder Shri Ram Avatar Agarwal, the third son of Lala Bholaram ji, settled in Banaras after his studies and used the most vibrant city in India which is also the heart of Uttar Pradesh and the home for the sacred Ganges, to start his journey towards the future.
Shri Ram Avatar Agarwal launched Maniram tubes in 1967 and soon became the largest suppliers of Water Pumps, Hand Pumps, Solar Panels and Solar Pumps.
Shifted base to Ghaziabad and helped raise two large manufacturing factories.
Drove the expansion of Dadu Pipes from Banaras into national supply.
Stayed in Banaras, anchoring the family’s original base of operations.
Four generations down the line, the most amazing qualities that still flow and are so very visible are the simplicity and determination that keep them all together.
